MEET AMY

Amy Stutz, MS CCC-SLP


Amy Stutz is a pediatric speech language pathologist working with children on speech and feeding concerns.  With 13 years of experience, she has a strong background and loves to help children with delays in expressive and receptive language skills, complex medical diagnoses, apraxia, speech sound disorders, Autism and other communication disorders. In addition, Amy enjoys helping families with feeding and mealtime challenges, including but not limited to, transitioning off bottle drinking and baby purees and learning to accept a wide variety of tastes and textures.  Born and raised in New Jersey, Amy now resides in Phoenix, AZ with her husband and two children.  Prior to their relocation to Arizona, Amy spent several years practicing in various states including Maryland, Illinois and Pennsylvania. Amy enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, exploring restaurants and the beautiful outdoors of Arizona!

Education and Background

Amy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Miami University in Oxford, OH and a Masters of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Loyola University of Maryland.   She is trained in Kaufman approach to apraxia, PROMPT, SOS Approach to Feeding and the “Get Permission” approach at mealtimes. Amy believes strongly in collaboration with other team members, including but not limited to occupational therapists, physical therapist, dietitians, physicians, social workers, specialists,  and the child’s family to treat the whole child, and not just the presenting symptoms. She takes continuing education seriously and is committed to staying current with the latest research to help families and their children.
